Let’s just call Doctor Strip Club’s Idiots of the week April 24, 2017 “The Snake Men”.  Their behavior on Las Vegas Boulevard was not illegal.  It was, however, foolish.  And then they took it to idiot level.  Here’s the story along with a brief video clip.  Sorry the video doesn’t capture the whole incident.  By the time I got the camera on to record what they were doing, Metro Police had stopped them.

IT IS LEGAL TO OWN SNAKES IN LAS VEGAS

There are many responsible people in Las Vegas who own reptiles as pets.  And of course most of the street promoters and taxi drivers in this town were bred from reptiles, in my opinion.

YOU CAN EVEN BRING YOUR PET SNAKE ON LAS VEGAS BOULEVARD

Some people do this to take photos and make a little money when people tip them for the photos. For several years, there was even a show on The Strip called “Venom” that featured poisonous snakes; it was cancelled after numerous near misses.

BUT USING YOUR SNAKE AS A PROP TO PICK UP WOMEN IS FOOLISH

Yes these two men were walking down the street with their pet snakes.  One snake was a Python.  The men were walking up to women with their snakes.  Some women shrieked and ran.  Others were afraid and obviously offended. The guys were using their snakes to try to meet women…a new pick up artist approach I suppose.

THESE GUYS WERE HOLDING THEIR SNAKES AT CROTCH LEVEL EXTENDING THE SNAKES AT WOMEN AS IF THE SNAKE WAS THEIR PENIS AND SAYING…

“HEY BITCH.  WANNA PET MY SNAKE.”

That is why Metro Police stopped them and asked them to end this behavior.  And that is why they were chosen as Doctor Strip Club’s Idiots of the Week.

When the police ran their ID’s, it was discovered one of the man had an outstanding warrant and he was carried away to Clark County Detention Center. Perhaps he got paired with a 300 lb cell mate named Bubba who has a snake for him to pet…
