Lately there is a fascination with strippers. Every one wants statistics on strippers: How old are Vegas Strippers? How much do they make? Why do they get into stripping? What do they do after they stop stripping? I’ll cover all these topics in future posts, but today let’s answer the question about Vegas strippers and their ages.

HOW OLD ARE VEGAS STRIPPERS?
A 2012 study by UNLV determined the average age for a Las Vegas Exotic dancer is 24. More recent research sets the median age between 23 and 24. The highest earning stripper I ever met, over $400,000 a year was 22, but she also made extra money modeling for Playboy and Maxim. In my personal experience the best strippers in Las Vegas, and by best I mean earning the most money are in the 28-34 age range.
IT’S ALL ABOUT SEX APPEAL

The huge popularity of MILF and MOM porn suggests that there is a growing fascination with older women. Seems awkward to me that we call women in their 30’s older. The fact is that men are attracted to women–especially women who exude sensuality and sexuality. My observation is that most, not all but most dancers in their 20’s rely solely on their looks. The older dancers keep up their looks but are highly skilled at selling the sexual sensual erotic fantasy that brings men to the strip clubs in the first place. A 20-something who is a 10 but lacks personality and sensuality is not nearly as appealing as a 35-year-old who is an 8 or 9 but knows how to work it.
EVEN INTO THEIR 60’s

I know a Las Vegas Stripper who is 60 years old and earns over $100,000 a year. She looks 35. Those red, black and blue lights inside the strip clubs hide a few things. She’s been a dancer since she was 18. She owns 5 homes and 3 cars and has no payments on any of it. She will retire well, if she ever decides to quit. I recently watched her work a bachelor party of 10 guys inside the club. These boys in their 20’s were turning down the young dancers while she sat at the table with them and chatted, played and teased. Over the course of 2 hours, she sold lap dances to 8 of the 10 guys and a 30 minute VIP with the Bachelor.

40 IS THE NEW 20
As I mentioned above, there is a growing fascination with women in their 30’s and 40’s. Younger men seem to be drawn to the older dancers. Creepy old men still want the 18 year old’s. Me…I simply like women with looks and personality. I’m currently dating a dancer who is 44 and looks to be in her 20’s. She is “age appropriate for me” by social standards, but we still get asked if she’s my daughter. Oh Well.

- Median Age 23-24
- Oldest Stripper I know of in town 67–she looks 40 ish
- 12% of Las Vegas Strippers are in their first year in the business
- 55% have been strippers more than 1 year but less than 5 years
- 19% have been strippers for 5-9 years
- 6% have been strippers for 10-20 years
- 8% have been grinding on the pole for over 20 years.
Those over 20 years have had their breasts re-done 2 or 3 times. They’ve probably also heard, “She’s My Cherry Pie” and “Girls Girls Girls” 10 million times and cough up glitter every day.
